Hi, I'm Lucinda (she/her)
Registered Psychologist | Co-Founder of Time & Space Psychology
Based in Meanjin (Brisbane) | Telehealth across Australia
From a young age, I knew I wanted to be a psychologist because I wanted to help people who felt like I did: different and misunderstood. Throughout my life, I’ve always had to create systems that worked for me because I never quite fit into the ones that were expected. When I did try to fit into these systems, it often came at the expense of my mental and physical health. This journey of self-discovery has deeply shaped my approach to therapy and assessment, and I’m passionate about helping others build systems that work for them, too.

✨ My Approach
I work in a flexible, collaborative, and neuro-affirming way, with a focus on identity, emotional safety, and personalised care. My style is warm, gentle, and client-led. I draw on evidence-based tools such as:
-
Attachment-based therapy;
-
Trauma-informed care;
-
Internal Family Systems (IFS)-informed work;
-
Play-based and creative methods (including art therapy);
-
Emotional regulation support;
-
Systemic advocacy (working with schools, health teams, and family systems).
I especially love supporting children, young people, and neurodivergent adults, particularly those navigating big emotions, identity, and relationships.
🧠 My Passion for Psychological Assessment
Assessment is the area I feel most experienced and energised in. I love helping individuals and families gain clarity, insight, and validation through:
-
Autism, ADHD, and AuDHD assessments;
-
Strengths-based learning and cognitive evaluations;
-
Comprehensive reports that make sense and support real-world change.
My reports are detailed, personalised, and designed to help you, or your child’s support team, understand how the brain works, what’s needed to thrive, and how to move forward with clarity and confidence. Whether the assessment is for you or someone you care for, I aim to provide compassionate insights that make a real difference in everyday life.
🚀 Experience & Training
I’ve supported people across a range of roles and settings including:
-
Student Services at The University of Queensland;
-
Psychology clinics that serve the broader community, such as the QUT Health Clinic and the Caroline Chisholm Centre;
-
A child and adolescent psychology private practice, where I provided therapy, assessments, and collaborated closely with families and schools;
-
Two primary schools working in a guidance counselling capacity alongside school staff;
-
Telehealth therapy and assessment work with children, teens, and families.
I’ve also completed training in Circle of Security Assessment and Intervention, which deepened my understanding of attachment, parenting, and early relational trauma, a lens I bring to both therapy and assessment.
I am currently completing my Educational & Developmental Psychology registrar program and receive regular supervision in line with Ahpra requirements.

🌌 More About Me
Outside of work, I’m a big fan of cosy, creative things: colouring warm scenes, writing, and reading on my Kindle.
I love music (Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams, Billie Eilish), long swims, and all things Twilight 🌙
My space is full of sensory-friendly comforts: weighted blankets, purple lights, fans and I find regulation through movement, nature, and connection.
My senior dog Bosley is my heart, and often a co-regulator in my day. I’m also a dual citizen of Canada, and love visiting my extended family there. I feel most grounded among cold forests and snow.
☁️ Final Words
I know what it’s like to move through the world feeling out of sync. I also know the quiet power of being supported as you are, and of building systems that truly work for you.
Whether you’re seeking clarity through assessment, connection in therapy, or just a safe place to land, I’m here to walk beside you.
Reach out when you’re ready. ✨
