For Referrers
We warmly welcome referrals from GPs, paediatricians, psychiatrists, allied health professionals, and educators.
🌱 Who We Work With
We offer trauma-informed, neuro-affirming therapy and assessments that centre safety, collaboration, and each client's unique identity.
Assessment: Our assessment services are available across the lifespan. We currently have assessment availability for children, adolescents, and adults, including Autism, ADHD, AuDHD, cognitive, and learning assessments.
Child and adolescent therapy: Our therapy services are for children and adolescents, delivered via Telehealth in our virtual therapy playroom. This setup is designed for children in rural and regional areas without a local child psychologist, and for children who engage best from their own safe space at home, with control over sound, subtitles, chat, and their environment. We are not currently accepting adult therapy referrals.
Parent and carer support: We support parents and caregivers through Circle of Security and attachment-based work, with a particular focus on neurodivergent children and families.
Adults are warmly welcomed through our assessment services. For clients who aren't yet sure whether a full assessment is the right step, our Neurodivergent Exploration offers a structured, low-pressure starting point, including a fully written option for clients for whom appointments themselves are a barrier.
Where: We offer Telehealth across Australia for therapy, our Neurodivergent Exploration, and many of our assessment services. Learning and cognitive assessments are conducted in person: in Meanjin/Brisbane we visit the client at home or in a suitable community space, and in Naarm/Melbourne we see clients in person in Scoresby, for both therapy and assessment.
We do not currently offer:
-
High-risk presentations requiring urgent, intensive, or crisis-level care;
-
Court reports or formal parenting capacity assessments;
-
Behaviour support plans or restrictive practices.
If you're unsure whether a referral is suitable, you're welcome to contact us to check first.
💬 Our Approach
We integrate a range of evidence-based, relationship-centred therapies including:
-
Attachment-based approaches, including Circle of Security parent support;
-
Brain and nervous system psychoeducation, helping children, young people, and parents understand how their own brain and body work, so they can build self-understanding and practical regulation strategies;
-
Neurodiversity-affirming practices;
-
Interest-led, strengths-based, and PDA-informed practice, using each child's interests and communication style as the way in, so they have a space to be themselves;
-
Emotion-focused and trauma-informed therapy;
-
Play-based and creative therapy, including our virtual therapy playroom for children;
-
Collaborative goal-setting and pacing that meets each client where they're at.
We place a strong focus on building safety, connection, and self-understanding, and welcome clients who may be hesitant, burnt out, or unsure where to start.
