✨ Our Story ✨

Time & Space Psychology was born from lived experience. As neurodivergent individuals, we spent years trying to fit into systems that were never built for us, whether in school, university, or the workplace. Like many others in our community, we grew up pushing against expectations that did not match how our brains worked.

It was not until adulthood that we were each diagnosed with our own unique neurodivergence, and began the slow, often tender process of unlearning the stories we had been told about who we were supposed to be.
In that unlearning, we started noticing how much better everything functions, in nature, in people, when it is given time and space. Oceans heal. Forests regrow. Minds decompress.
The same is true for neurodivergent people. We do not need fixing. We need room to be who we are.

Time & Space Psychology was created as a response to that realisation. A practice built to work with neurodivergent minds, not against them.
A place where you do not have to mask, shrink, or mould yourself to fit.
Where difference is not a deficit and your strengths are seen, celebrated, and supported.

We know firsthand how harmful it can be to move through systems that do not accommodate who you are. And we know the deep relief that comes when someone finally gets you without conditions.
That is why we do this work: to offer others the same sense of understanding, self-acceptance, and possibility.

At Time & Space Psychology, you do not have to fit anyone else’s mould.
You are valued exactly as you are. In your own time and space.

Who are we?
We're Lucinda and Marini, two passionate psychologists, co-founders of Time & Space Psychology, and forever "two peas in a pod."
Our connection began in our Master’s program, where we quickly became each other’s safe person. From the beginning, we just got each other and we’ve been each other’s anchor ever since. During some of the hardest moments of our training, we pulled each other through, not just academically, but emotionally, spiritually, and creatively.
